Women Accepting Responsibility (WAR) is a minority, not-for profit community based organization. WAR was founded as a result of my obedience to God’s calling, while caring for my youngest daughter, Wanda, during her unsuccessful battle with AIDS. The call was intensely focused, to work exclusively with women in crisis and transition. Women that are victims of pain, shame, blame, grief and sorrow. To offer non-judgmental, compassionate, loving services, meeting each woman at her level of need without question. To help understand, we are all God’s creatures created in the image, likeness of our Mother-Father God; that every one of us is special and that God makes no mistakes. That their dreams can be a reality if they believe in the Power greater than. Encouraging women to fall in love with self and become the empowered person they were intended to be is my personal mission.
